Himachal Pradesh 12th Result 2019 Date and Time: Decision Today

Dharamshala: The Himachal Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) will declare the Class 12th or Class XII 2019 result today i.e. Saturday April 20 or on Monday April 22, the decision will be taken by today afternoon.

Multiple media reports citing top Himachal board officials have claimed that HPBOSE 12th result 2019 will be declared today i.e. Saturday April 20.

However, there are again reports, including by IndiaResults.com, which claimed that HPBOSE 12th 2019 result will be declared on Monday April 22. These reports also cited quotes by top Himachal board officials.

Apart from result date, none of these reports have any confirmation regarding timing. They said results - either today or on Monday, will be declared by afternoon.

Meanwhile the Himachal Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) is maintaing a guarded silence and the notification area of the website has no update regarding the 12th result 2019 date and time.

The Himachal Pradesh Board Class 12 exams 2019 started on March 06 and ended on March 29, 2019. More than a lakh students from all across the state appeared for the Class 12 also known as SOS Plus Two exams in 2019.

In 2016, the HP board had surprised the students by declaring the HPBOSE Class 12 results in just 25 days from the conclusion of examinations. In 2018, HPBOSE 12th result was announced on April 24 whereas in 2017 the Himachal Pradesh board declared the 12th result on April 25 - this too in a record time.

Once declared, the HP Board Class 12 or Class XII 2019 results will be accessible on HP board official and its associate websites. Students who had appeared for the HPBOSE Class 12th exam can follow the steps given as under to check their results and scorecard.

Search for the Result tab in Notification section
Enter your Exam seat no. date of birth and other details if asked
Click on Submit button
Results should appear on your screen
Take a printout

The HP board Class 12 (Class XII or SOS Plus Two) or HPBOSE 12th Science, Commerce and Arts result 2019 results are also available via SMS. To get your results on SMS type HP12 <Roll No> and send to 5676750. For example HP12 20615051 send to 567650.

HPBOSE 12th Pass Percentage and Toppers 2018

Sahil Katna and Vikrant Rewal from Science stream jointly topped the board examinations. Overall, 46,531 students secured first division, 18,337 students cleared the examination with the second division, and 3,563 passed with third division.

A total of 98,281 students had appeared for the HP board 2018 Class 12 examinations. Of them 68,469 students had cleared the examination, leading a pass percentage of 69.67 in the state. The overall pass percentage in 2017 was 72.89% and 78.93% in 2016.
