NEST 2019: The Admit Card, also known as Hall Ticket, of the candidates who have regsiterd for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2019 has been released on the NEST official website nestexam.in.

Candidates who have registered for this examination can download their Admit Cards/Hall Tickets from the official website of NEST.

NEST 2019 will be held on June 01, 2019 from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm in two sessions. The question paper will be divided into five parts, including the General Section, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The results for the same would likely be declared on June 17, 2019.

Steps to download the NEST 2019 Admit Card

  1. Go to the official website: nestexam.in.
  2. Click on the link to “Download admit card”.
  3. Enter your Registration Number, NEST Password and the “Secret Code” provided.
  4. Click on “Login”.
  5. Download the Admit Card/Hall Ticket and take a print out.

Candidates who clear this paper will gain admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Bhubaneswar and Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) of University of Mumbai.

About National Entrance Screening Test

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007.

Their mandate is to train scientific manpower for carrying out cutting edge scientific research and for providing input to scientific programmes of Department of Atomic Energy and other applied science institutions in the country. NEST 2017 will be conducted in 60 cities [see list] (124 venues) across India. The brochure gives the detailed procedure for applying for the test, syllabus of the test and various dead lines.

NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai are in compliance with the UGC and Govt. of India guidelines on anti-ragging. Ragging in any form is a punishable offense and hence is totally prohibited on these campuses.
