Malegaon (Maharashtra): A day-long national conference organised by Jamiat Ahle Hadees Maharashtra in Malegaon Sunday opened with a strong condemnation of the terror attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama district of Kashmir.
In the worst ever terror attack in decades on the Indian soil, more than 40 CRPF troops were killed and a large number of others were left injured when an explosive-laden vehicle barged into the security personnel convoy Thursday.
"Terrorists will never succeed in their evil design to weaken our country by such cowardly attacks", Razaullah Abdul Kareem, senior cleric of Jamiat Ahle Hadees Hind, said while opening the day-long conference.
"We want to make it very clear that the Indian Muslims and Jamiat Ahle Hadees are with the country in its fight against terrorism and violence", he said while condemning the Pulwama terrorist attack.
"Instead of dividing us, the terror attack has actually united whole of the country. Indian Muslims and Jamiat Ahle Hadees too are with the country and fully support whatever action the government decides to take to eliminate the menace of terrorism", he asserted.
"The country has actually emerged stronger after the attack. Instead of taking a hit, the morale of our security forces is also high. We have faith in the capability of our forces and their potential to win the decisive fight against terrorism", Razaullah Kareem said while opening the Ahle Hadees conference.
Titled "Manhaj e Salaf Conference" and presided over by Dr Saeed Ahmed Faizee, the president of Jamiat Ahle Hadees Maharashtra, the day-long conference is being held at the SM Khaleel High School in Malegaon.
Delegates from all over Maharashta and the neighboring states have arrived in Malegaon to attend the conference which will be addressed on wide ranging topics focusing on peace by senior clerics and scholars including Fazlurrehman Madani, Shameem Fauzi, Muqeem Faizee, Arshad Mukhtar of Mohammadia Education Society Mumbai, Mohammad Rahmani of Jamia Islamia Sanabul, New Delhi and others.
Preparations for the conference were underway since last about a month for the conference which is coordinated by volunteers of Jamiat Ahle Hadees Malegaon led by Shakeel Ahmed Faizee.
The day-long conference will end today evening with valedictory session after Isha prayers.
