Jaipur: Shadab Hussain, son of a tailor based in Kota, Rajasthan, has topped the CA Final 2018 exam result of which was declared by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Wednesday.

Siddhant Bhandari from Jodhpur has topped the CA Final 2018 exam (New course).
“I studied day-and-night to earn a job so that my parents do not have to bother about their old age. I thought of Chartered Accountancy (CA) to be a niche profession where one can learn throughout their life. After due consideration and research, I set my mind to become a CA,” Hussain told The Indian Express.
Hussain’s father is a tailor and studied till class 10 and his mother is a school drop-out. He is the only brother of four sisters. The Kota boy likes to play badminton and cricket in his free time and found audit to be the easiest of all the seven subjects in the CA final exam.
The ICAI CA Final and Foundation 2018 results can be accessed on icaiexam.icai.org, icai.nic.in and caresults.icai.org. To get the result via SMS, type "CAINTER (space) 06 Digit Roll No." eg. "CAINTER 889900" and send it to 58888.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has also released simultaneously the All India Merit List.

The CA Final November 2018 and CA Foundation November 2018 results were announced on the official web around afternoon on Wednesday.
The All India Merit List of candidates securing a minimum of 55 per cent and above marks and up to the maximum of 50th Rank on all India basis have also been made available on the above website.
