Karnataka: Diploma CET 2019 postponed by a week

Karnataka Diploma CET 2019: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET 2019) to be held on July 07 due to date clash with NATA exam.

"Diploma CET 2019 was scheduled to be held on July 07, 2019. But, on the same day NATA examination is being conducted by Cpuncil of Architecture for admission to Architecture course", KEA said in an official notification.

"Hence, DCET 2019 is rescheduled and it will be conducted on July 14, 2019", it added.

The 03-hour long 180 marks exam, DCET 2019 will be held from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm on July 07, 2019 as per the new DCET 2019 Time Table released on the official website kea.kar.nic.in.

The Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test - 2019 (Diploma CET-2019) is being conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility/merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates to the Second year or Third semester full time B.E courses for both day and evening colleges in Government/University/PrivateAided/PrivateUn-Aided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka for the academic year 2019-20.

Admissions to the Government seats shall be made in accordance with the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Government Seats in Professional Educational Institutions Rules, 2006 (in short ‘Rules-2006’) and as amended from time to time.
