KEA NEET UG Counselling Last Date

KEA Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2019: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the Last Date of Online Registration on its website kea.kar.nic.in for Combined Centralised Counselling for Admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the year 2019-20 in the state of Karnataka and AYUSH seat admission to Karnataka candidates.

According to the earlier counselling schedule, the last date of online registration was June 19, 2019. It is now has been extended till June 21, 2019.

"The last date for UG NEET registration through online portal of KEA is extended till June 21, 2019 upto 05:00 pm", KEA Executive Director said in an official notification.

"Editing of the reservations claimed is also allowed and candidates can change their reservations claimed provided they have documents", he aded.

"Candidates who edit their reserbation claims have to appear for document verification once again even if they have completed CET verification", he said.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has started through its official website kea.kar.nic.in Online Registration for Combined Centralised Counselling for Admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the year 2019-20 in the state of Karnataka and AYUSH seat admission to Karnataka candidates on June 13.

Steps for KEA NEET UG 2019 Registration

  1. Click here to go to the official website: karnataka.gov.in.
  2. From the "Admission" Dropdown Menu, click on UG-NEET 2019.
  3. Select Medical/Dental or AYUSH as per your choice.
  4. Click on UG NEET Online Application.
  5. Click on the appropriate link and complete the Online Registration.

"The candidates who have scored more than or equal to the prescribed minimum score in NEET 2018 only are eligible to register for UG Admission", the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) said.

"SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to SC/ST/OBC Karnataka candidates only", it added.

"Non Karnataka candidates will not be eligible for reservation. Hence in the UG NEET 2019 examination, if they have scored the required minimum marks or above fixed for others category as per the qualifying criteria i.e. 50th Percentile, then only they are eligibile to register for admissions through KEA or for any other seats in the state of Karnakata", the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) said.

"Before registering online for admission to Medical and Dental courses in the state of Karnataka, applicants are advised to read the Information Bulletin UG NEET 2019 and understand the eligibility conditions, classification of seats (different types of category of seats) and eligibility to claim such seats that are hosted on the KEA website for information of the candidates", it said.

"Kartaka candidates who have already registered with KEA for CET 2019 and verified their document or attending the UG CET 2019 document verification should compulsorily register for UGNEET 2019 counselling by entering/citing their CET 2019 admission ticket number", KEA said.

"Candidates who have completed their document verification as per their CET 2019 rank need not come for verification of documents for Medical/Dental/AYUSH courses once again", KEA UG NEET 2019 Counselling Notification said.

"However, if any such candidate is eligible to claim Linguistic Minority or Religious Minority or NRI ward seats or candidates eligible to claim Category 2 to 8 in St. John Medical College, Bangalore then they have to submit relevant certificates/documents on the day of their turn as per the NEET Document Verification schedule", the notification said.
