NIOS Date Sheet April 2019: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) on Tuesday released on its official website www.nios.ac.in the 2019 Date Sheet and Time Table of Class 10 and Class 12 exams to be held in the month of April.
According to the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) 2019 Date Sheet, Class 10 and Class 12 exams of both local and overseas students will begin on April 02, 2019. The NIOS Class 12 (Senior Secondary) and Class 10 (Secondary) both exams will be held from 02:30 to 05:30 pm in the afternoon session.
Along with declaring the 2019 date sheet of Class Xth and Class XIIth regular exams, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has also published the dates of Practical Exams.
According to the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the NIOS Practical exams for Indian students will be held between March 16 to 30, 2019. For NIOS Overseas students, the 2019 Practical Exams will between March 21 and 30, 2019.
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will release soon the NIOS admit card and hall tickets of the students who have registered for the 2019 exams in a couple of days.
NIOS is "Open School" to cater to the needs of a heterogeneous group of learners up to pre-degree level. It was started as a project with in-built flexibilities by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 1979. In 1986, the National Policy on Education suggested strengthening of Open School System for extending open learning facilities in a phased manner at secondary level all over the country as an independent system with its own curriculum and examination leading to certification.
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) provides opportunities to interested learners by making available the following Courses/Programmes of Study through open and distance learning (ODL) mode.
