New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Thursday soon after releasing the result of 12th board exams also released the schedule of Verification of Marks/Photocopy of Evaluated Answer Sheets and Re-Evaluation for the students who are satifised with their score.
According to the schedule released by the CBSE, a student can apply for Verification of her or his marks between May 04 to May 08, 2019.
To obtain photo copies of Answer Sheets a student should apply from May 20 to May 21, 2019. Fo re-evaluation, a student should apply from May 24 to May 25, 2019.
All applications should accompany the fees as fixed by the CBSE.
"Requests for all the processes i.e. Verification of Marks, Obtaining Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Books(s) and Re-evaluation, for the candidates who have appeared for the Senior School Certificate (Class XII) Examinations, 2019 will be accepted only Online and during the specified schedules alongwith processing charges", the CBSE said in its official notification released today.
"The processing charges can only be deposited online (Credit/Debit Card/Net banking). Processing charges shall not be accepted offline i.e Postal Order/DD/Money order/cheque/Cash etc", the board said.
"Incomplete/offline applications will be summarily rejected without any correspondence with the candidate. For all the three steps, candidates have to make separate application and pay the processing charges separately. Only one application for each step per candidate will be accepted in online process", the CBSE said.
Studets who failed in the 12th board exam or wants to improve their score can appear for CBSE 12th Compartment and Improvement Exam 2019. A detailed notification and date sheet for CBSE 12th Compartmental Exam 2019 will be released soon.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared on its official website cbseresults.nic.in the Class 12th (Class XIIth) Result 2019 today on Thursday May 02, 2019. The overall pass percentage of CBSE Class 12 this year is 83.40.
Girls did better than the boys with a pass percentage of 88.70 per cent against boys' 79.40 per cent, CBSE officials said.
Hansika Shukla, Karishma Arora are joint toppers of CBSE 12th 2019 exam. Both of them have scored 499 out of the total 500 marks.
Gaurangi Chawla of Nirmal Ashram School, Rishikesh Aishwarya of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rai Bareilly and Bhavya of BR SK International Public School Jind Haryana have scored 498 out of 500 and bagged 2nd position. Neeraj JindalParth Saini, Ananya Goel and Mehak Talwar from Delhi are among 18 students to rank third in the exam. They all scored 497/500 marks.
A total of 94,299 students secured 90 per cent marks in Class 12 examination. The Kendriya Vidyalaya schools have performed better with 98.54 per cent success rate and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas with 96.62 per cent.
Among districts, the top performing region is Trivandrum with a pass percentage of 98.2% followed by the Chennai region scoring the pass percentage is 92.93% and Delhi with 91.87%. Foreign Schools registered a pass percentage of 95.4% in CBSE XIIth 2019 exam.
