NTA UGC NET June 2019 Admit Card: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has on Tuesday released the Admit Card and Hall Ticket of the candidates appearing to UGC NET June 2019 on its UGC NET official website ntanet.nic.in.
"The candidates (who have paid the examination fee by the due date) can download their e-admit cards from UGC-NET website www.nta.ac.in or www.ntanet.nic.in using their Application Number and Date of Birth, w.e.f. 28.05.2019 (Tuesday)", the NTA said in an official notifiaction.
"In case, any candidate is facing difficulty in downloading his/her e-admit card, he/she may send e-mail to ugcnet@nta.ac.in with a subject line “UGC-NET, June 2019 Admit Card”, it added.
"The candidates may kindly note that no admit card will be sent by the post and only the e-Admit Card downloaded from above NTA sites is a valid admit card", the NTA said.
The UGC NET Admit Card, also called as UGC NET Hall Ticket, should contain candidate's name, photo and other details most importantly the details of UGC NET Exam Centre, Date and Time of exam.
In a significant change, NTA UGC NET 2019 June will be held over many days and students will have the option to choose an exam date.
The National Testing Agency will be conducting the National Eligibility Test, UGC-NET for 'Assistant Professor only' or for ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor' in CBT mode at examination centres located in 237 cities throughout the country, on June 20, 21, 24, 25 and 26. 2019.
NTA UGC NET June 2019 will consist of two papers. Both the papers will be conducted in a single duration of three hours.
To further help candidates, the NTA has provided on its website the UGC NET Mock Test free of charge. Candidates can try UGC NET Mock Test before appearing for the final exam.
UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the posts assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Candidates who qualify for the JRF are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible to apply for the post of an assistant professor in Indian universities and colleges.
The award of JRF and eligibility for assistant professor’s post depends on the performance of the candidate in all the three papers of NET. However, candidates qualifying exclusively for an assistant professor are not considered for JRF.
Candidates who have scored at least 55% in their master’s degree are eligible for NET.
