Hajj 2020 last date of application extended

Hajj 2020: The Haj Committee of India Saturday extended the last date to apply for Hajj 2020, it said in an official notification published on its website.

The Haj Committee of India had earlier fixed the last date as November 10, 2019. It has however extended it to December 05, 2019.

"In view of the representations received from several State Haj Committees, the last date for filling up of online Haj Application Forms by the intending pilgrims is extended up to 05th December,2019", the Haj Committee of India said in the official notification dated November 09..

"Consequently, applicants possessing of machine readable valid Indian International passports issued on or before 05th December, 2019 and valid up to 20th January, 2021 will be eligible to apply for Haj - 2020", it said.

The Haj Committee of India started receiving Haj Application Form for Hajj 2020 from Octobet 10, 2019 in fully online mode. However, several pilgrims faced problems while filling the Hajj application forms online. They also complained of glitches in Haj App downloaded through Google Play Store.

As of last week, the Haj Committee of India had received applications far less than its quota - something seen for the first time in its hidtory.

Haj Pay in Slip

Pilgrims should note that they can read Haj Application Guidelines along with specimen copy of Haj 2020 Application Form before applying for Hajj 2020.

The Haj Committee of India the PDf copy of Haj Pay-in Slip (State Bank of India and Union Bank of India.) The Haj Application fee Rs.300/- can also be paid Online or through banks using these pay-in slips.

A total of 200,000 pilgrims will perform Hajj - the holy journey to Makkah, from India. Part of this number go to Hajj through Private Tour Operators and rest go through Haj Committee of India.

Hajj 2020 Qurrah Date

According to Haj 2020 Action Plan, the Haj Committee of India will conduct the Qurrah or Draw of Lots in the 2nd week of December, 2019. The Qurrah will be fully computerised and will be held at respective State Haj Committee headquarters.

Haj 2020 applicants should note that the last date to submit Advance Haj amount by the selected pilgrims is the last week of December 2019. Last date of submission of PP/Pay-in-Slip of Advance Haj amount/medical certidicate is January 31, 2020.

The Haj Committee of India has already started from October 10, 2019 receiving Haj Application Form (HAF) from applicants. Last date to apply for Hajj 2020 is November 10, 2019. The Haj Application Process from this year is fully online.

Hajj 2020 Important Dates

Start of Online Application Process for Hajj 2020: October 10, 2019.

Last date to apply for Haj 2020: December 05, 2019.

Conduct of Qurrah for selection of Haj pilgrims: 2nd week of December.

Last Date for receipt of Advance Haj Amount from the selected pilgrims: December last week.

Finalization of Embarkation Points for Air Charter Operations: 1st week of October 2019.

Finalization of Air Charter agreement by MoCA with Indian Airlines/Saudi Arabian Airlines: 2nd week of January 2020.

Last date for submission of HAF/PP/pay-in-slip of Advance Haj Amount/Medical Certificate by selected pilgrims to State Haj Committees: January 31, 2020.

Release of wait-listed pilgrims against cancellation of pilgrims who have not submitted PP/Advance Haj Amount: January 31, 2020.

Last date for submission of Flight Schedules by Airlines to Haj Committee of India: February 15, 2020.

First outbound flight for Haj 2020: June 25, 2020.

Last outbound Haj 2020 flight: July 26, 2020.

First inbound Haj flight from Saudi Arabia to India: August 04, 2020
