Haryana Assembly Election Result 2019: Ruling BJP and the opposition Congress are in neck and neck battle in Haryana assembly 2019 elections, according to trends at 01:00 pm.
The latest trends showed BJP and Congress both leading in 35 constituencies of Haryana which has a total of 90 seats. Others are leading in 20 seats.
Counting of votes stored in EVMs are taking place round-wise on multiple tables one at a time. While trends and lead position is expected to trickle in by 08:30 am, the final results are expected by today afternoon.
08:45 am Ruling BJP is leading in 53 assembly seats whereas the Congress is ahead in just 22 assembly seats, according to trends at 08:45 am.
08:20 am: Ruling BJP is leading in 28 assembly seats whereas the Congress is ahead in just 08 assembly seats, according to trends at 08:15 am.
08:05 am: The Election Commission of India has started counting of votes in all 90 assembly constituencies polling for which was held Monday, October 21, 2019.
07:15 am: The Election Commission of India is set to start shortly the counting of votes in all 90 assembly constituencies, also known as Vidhan Sabha seats, of Haryana polling for which was held Monday, October 21, 2019.
According to Haryana State Election Commission, the porcess will start at around 08:00 am with counting of Postal Ballots. Postal Ballots contain the votes of government servants who are posted in different areas of the state on the polling day. Postal ballots also contain votes of army men and natives of Haryana on government duty at any other place on the polling day.
After counting of postal ballots, counting of votes stored in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will start. Special arrangements have been made for the purpose by the state election department in all 90 Vidhan Sabha seats of Haryana.

Haryana had registered around 64 per cent in by and large peaceful polling on Monday.
The state with 19,578 polling stations used 27,611 voter-verified paper audit trail (VVPATs) machines. A total of 1,169 candidates, including 105 women and a transgender, were in the fray. While the BJP and the Congress are contesting on all 90 seats, the BSP is in the fray on 87 seats, and the INLD is contesting on 81 seats. There are some 375 candidates contesting as independents.
The BJP had bagged 47 seats in the 2014 Haryana Vidhan Sabha election. The half-way mark in the state assembly is 45. The Exit Polls have predicted varied results for Haryana. While CVoter predicts landslide for the ruling BJP, AajTak is predicting a hund assembly.
According to IANS-CVoter,the ruling BJP is expected to win 68-76 seats for the saffron party in the 90-member Haryana Assembly.
Aaj Tak-Axis My India however said the BJP will win 32-44 seats. The exit poll also predicted that Jannayak Janata Party of Dushyant Chautala could emerge as the kingmaker. The party is likely to get 6-10 seats.
