CBSE 10th, 12th Admit Card 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Saturday released online the Admit Cards of Regular as well as Private students who are appearing for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams to be held in February/March 2020.
Students should note that the CBSE 10th and 12th Admit Card 2020 should be downloaded by the respective schools, signed by school heads and then given to the students.
The CBSE had earlier made 75% attendance compulsory for all students to appear in the 2020 CBSE board exams. The CBSE said it will release the Admit Cards (Hall Tickets) of the students only if they have fulfilled this criteria.
The CBSE in its latest notice has directed all schools to calculate attendance of students who have to appear for class 10 and class 12 board exams this year as on January 1, 2020.
"Students whose attendance will be calculated less than 75 per cent will not be allowed to appear for the exams", the rule mandated by the CBSE said.
"The CBSE board exams will commence from February 15 and admit cards will be released only for students who are eligible by all means including that of mandatory attendance", it said.
Schools should note that the Admit Card is signed by the principal before they are distributed to students.
Students should carefully check their name, address, photo, name of exam center and other details are properly printed on the admit card. In case of any error theyr should immediately report to their school.
According to the CBSE board exam datesheet 2020, the Class 10th and 12th theory exams will start on February 15, 2020. CBSE Class 10 exams of main subjects will be held between Feb 26 and March 18, 2020.
On the other hand, CBSE 12th exam of main subjects will be held between Feb 22 to March 30, 2020.
