Mumbai: A 2017 interview of RJD leaders Tejashwi Yadav taken by Republic TV Deepti Sachdeva inside Jet Airways resurfaced on social media after at least 04 airlines banned popular standup comedian Kunal Kamra.

Tagging the video on social media micro blogging site Twitter, a number of users accused the airlines of 'hyporcrisy' and being biased against Kamra.

"Hello Arnab/@republic... remember this ‘Super Exclusive interview' with @yadavtejashwi inside @jetairways by your reporter? Crew members tried to intervene by repeatedly requesting her to return to her seat but she continued. @kunalkamra88 just did a @republic on you", Mohammed Zubair (@zoo_bear), co-founder of @Altnews, wrote on Twitter.

Kunal Kamra was temporarily banned by airlies after he shared a video on Twitter where he can be heard asking his co-passenger Arnab Goswami.

"Viewers today want to know if Arnab is a coward or a nationalist. Arnab, this is for national interest. I am part of the tukde-tukde narrative. You should deflate me. You should take the enemy of the states down. You should make sure that the country is in safe hands of Narendra Modi. You should fight against dynasts like Rahul Gandhi, who I support, on 10 Tughlaq Lane. Arnab, you should have a reply, Arnab. Arnab, are you a coward or are you a journalist? Are you a coward or are you a journalist or a nationalist? Who are you, Arnab?"

After the video went viral, IndiGo banned Kamra for six months. SpiceJet, GoAir and Air India followed after Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri posted on Twitter encouraged them to do so.

Meanwhile, after being banned temporarily by the airlines, Kunal Kamra is also taking sarcastic jibes at the situation on social media.

"Right Wing - Goli maaro saalon ko... Liberals - We must not disturb people on flights & respect an individuals private space", Kunal Kamra wrote on Twitter Wednesday.

In a separate tweet, he wrote: "FYI - Arnab Goswami was in my flight again this morning while returning from Lucknow... I again asked him politely if he wants to have a honest discussion... he with his verbal arrogant hand jester asked me to move away & I did that..."

Earlier, Kamra alleged that Goswami has called him mentally unstable. He tweeted: "Met Arnab Goswami on a flight and gave him a monologue about his ‘journalism'. All he did was call me mentally unstable and after sometime I had no choice but to return to my seat. The entire flight I'll keep pretending to use the loo just to tell him he's piece of SH*T. F*CK Arnab".
