Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 225 new COVID-19 positive cases, highest single day spike so far, informed the health department on Saturday.
With this, the total positive cases increased to 3,723 in Odisha.
Of the new 225 positive cases, 196 have been reported from different quarantine centres while the rest 29 are local cases, the department said.
Cuttack reported the highest of 92 new cases, followed by Ganjam (20), Khurda (19), Kandhamal (15), Puri (15), Jagatsinghpur (13), Balangir (12), Mayurbhanj (9), Nayagarh (7), Dhenkanal (7), Bhadrak (5), Kendrapara (4), Kalahandi (3), Balasore (2), Angul (1) and Sundargarh (1).
Odisha has 1,236 active cases while 2,474 persons have recovered so far and 10 people have died of the disease.
