New Delhi: The All Party Meeting on China called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday was expected to clear the confusion surrounding and answer the questions haunting the minds of Indians since May 5 when the first report of crisis in Galwan Valley and Ladakh had surfaced.
However, the meeting not only has failed in clearing the doubts but has also created more questions leaving even the Army Veterans in shock and disbelief.
"Today is very unfortunate Day !! I thank my three stars that I am retired n my son in not in the Army!" Lt Gen Rameshwar Roy, Lieutenant General (Retd) Indian Army, Former Corps Commander Jammu & Kashmir, Director-General Assam Rifles. Chief-of-Staff Southern Command, wrote on Twitter.

Responding to PM Modi's speech made during the all party meet on China, Colonel (Retd) Ajai Shukla, who was the first to write about the Chinese army capturing Indian territory, tweeted, "Did I see prime minister @narendramodi redrawing the Sino-Indian border on TV today? Modi said nobody entered Indian territory. Has he conceded to China the Galwan River valley and Fingers 4-8 in Pangong Tso -- both on our side of the LAC -- and where Chinese troops now sit."
Meanwhile, #ModiSurrendersToChina started trending on social media site Twitter this morning after Rahul Gandhi in his tweet wrote "PM has surrendered Indian territory to Chinese aggression".

This is shocking. Chinese spokeperson has alleged that #Galwan valley is located on Chinese side of LAC, thereby implying that it’s Chinese territory. Why is the nation kept in dark? PMO must immediately clarify this.#ModiSurrendersToChina pic.twitter.com/9ncdUtyKIU— Shivani Chopra (@ShivaniChopra_) June 20, 2020

If China did not enter Indian territory, then why did EAM @DrSJaishankar ji talk about 'a structure' the Chinese 'erected?' How were our 20 soldiers martyred & where were our 10 braves captured? Never has any Indian PM put domestic image above our soldiers. #ModiSurrendersToChina pic.twitter.com/cGz6I00AsO— Tehseen Poonawalla Official (@tehseenp) June 20, 2020
