New Delhi: The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), a NAAC Accredited A++ Grade Central University Tuesday Feb 20 released e-Prospectus for the Academic year 2024-25.
The prospectus containing information about admission to various Postgraduate (PG), Undergraduate (UG), PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programs have been uploaded on the Controller of Examinations website: www.jmicoe.in .
Candidates are required to apply only in Online Mod. Candidates should also note that no Offline Form will be accepted.
The Jamia officials also announced that the schedule of admission test for Ph.D. Programme for the session 2024-25 will be notified separately.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has launched eight new academic programmes from this year. They are: M.Tech (Data Sciences), M.Tech (Solid State Technology), M.Sc. (AI and ML), B.Tech (Electrical & Computer Engineering), B.Tech Electronics (VLSI Design & Technology), B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering (Data Sciences), B.Sc. (Life Sciences with Computer Applications) and Certificate in Digital Humanities.
In response to the transformative mandate outlined in the National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020, the Jamia has embarked on a journey towards revitalizing its educational landscape. All candidates should also note that the Jamia is implementing NEP2020 from session 2024-25 in all under-graduate (UG) programs.
With a focus on the implementation of the four year undergraduate (UG) program and the introduction of the multiple entry exit options, JMI stands at the forefront of reformative endeavors in higher education.
Candidates are required to read the prospectus carefully before filling the application form for admission to any program of study in JMI.
The Prospectus provides general information and is subject to the provisions of the Act, Statutes, Ordinances and relevant Regulations of the Academic Council / Executive Council of JMI.
The Jamia reserves the right to change/ modify the provisions made in the prospectus by notifying through addendum/ corrigendum on the university website.
Candidates shall not be informed of any such change individually and are advised to check the university website www.jmicoe.in and https://jmi.ac.in regularly for admission related notices and other information.
