MHT CET 2024-25: The Maharashtra CET Cell has revised the dates of MHT CET 2024 (PCM and PCB both) and other Entrance Tests to be held for the academic year 2024-25.

CET Revised Schedule

As per the CET schedule released earlier, MHT CET (PCM) was supposed to be held from April 16 to 23, 2024, and the MHT CET (PCB) for this year on the other hand was scheduled to be held from April 25 to 30, 2024.

As per the new schedule, MHT CET 2024 PCB Group will be held on 22-April , 23-April , 24-April , 28-April , 29-April and 30-April 2024.

MHT CET 2024 PCM Group on the other hand will be held on 2-May, 3-May, 4-May, 5-May, 9-May, 10-May, 11-May, 15-May and 16-May 2024.

As per the revised schedule, MAH AAC CET 2024 will be held on May 12, 2024, MAH (BA/BSc BEd Four Year Integrated) CET will be held on May 17, 2024, MAH LLB CET (5 yr integrated) will be held on May 17, 2024, MH Nursing CET will be held on May 18, 2024, MAH BHMCT CET will be held on May 22, 2024 and MAH BBCA/BBA/BMS/BBM CET will be held from May 27 to 29, 2024.

The CET Cell did not cite any reason why it has revised the schedule. It is however anticipated that the entrance tests might have been revised because of the 2024 General Elections.

MHT CET 2024 Syllabus

Candidates should note that along with starting online application process, the CET Cell has also published MHT CET Information Brochure and MHT CET 2024 Syllabus, eligibility criteria and Exam Pattern.

"Syllabi of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology for the MHT - CET 2024, is declared by Director, Technical Education, Mumbai", the CET Cell said.

"The questions will be based on Syllabus of State Council of Educational Research and Training Maharashtra", it said.

"Approximately 20% weightage will be given to Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to Std. XII curriculum while setting the question paper", it added.

No Negative Marking

"There will be no Negative Marking, however difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET", the Maharashtra CET Cell said.

"The questions will be mainly application based", it said.

MHT CET Paper Pattern

MHT-CET 2024 will consist of 3 question paper of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks

The MHT CET PCM and PCB both will be held in two shifts.

"Morning shift will be from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm and afternoon shift will be from 02.00 pm to 05.00 pm", the CET Cell said.

"The candidate will have choice of appearing any one or both examination", it added.

The MHT CET Exam Centre will be mentioned on admit card and hall ticket that will be released 1-2 week before the exam.
