AIAPGET 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced retest (re-exam) for 49 students whose All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test 2026 (AIAPGET 2026) Saturday August 22, 2026 was disrupted due to power failure.

The National Testing Agency conducted the AIAPGET 2026 for 51,482 registered candidates at around 205 exam centers across India.

In a notification released after the exam, the NTA said of the 51,482 candidates who had registered for the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test 2026, 49,867 candidates turned up for the exam.

However, 49 candidates at AIAPGET exam center in Jaipur could not complete their exam due to power failure.

“… at Shri Satya Sai PG College Centre, in Jaipur, where 192 candidates appeared for the examination, 49 candidates could not complete the examination due to power failure at the centre”, the NTA said.

“A retest has been scheduled on 1 September 2026 for 49 candidates who were affected by a power supply failure at a centre in Jaipur”, the NTA further said.

The NTA also issued notice to the exam conducting agency for the lapses.

“The NTA has issued a show-cause notice to M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Pvt. Ltd. for lapses in the conduct of the AIAPGET examination at a center in Jaipur. Pending resolution of the notice, the empanelment of M/s Eduquity with NTA stands suspended with immediate effect”, the agency said.

AIAPGET is conducted for All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats of MD/MS programmes in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy offered by all AYUSH Colleges, Institutions, Universities and Deemed Universities across the country.
