Maharashtra Medical and Dental Counselling 2026: The Maharashtra CET Cell has revised the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 schedule as per which the MBBS and BDS Round 1 Allotment Result 2026, supposed to be published on August 25, 2026, has been delayed.
The Maharashtra CET Cell had started through its official website 'medical2026.mahacet.org' Online Registration for NEET UG 2026 Counselling conducted for Admission in Health Science Courses Medical (MBBS) and Dental (BDS) from August 06, 2026. The last date of application was August 12, 2026.
After the last date of application, the CET Cell prepared the NEET UG 2026 Provisional Merit List and released it on August 18, 2026.
Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 Revised Schedule
The Maharashtra CET Cell, however, has revised the MBBS and BDS Counselling Schedule, simultaneously re-opening the registration and extending the last date of registration.
In the NEET UG 2026 revised schedule, the Maharashtra CET Cell also said will publish a revised merit list, adding the newly registered candidates, on August 23, 2026.
The CET Cell said the Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 Final Merit List will be published on August 25, 2026, as per the revised schedule.
Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 1 Selection List
After publishing the NEET UG Final Merit List, the CET Cell will publish on August 25, 2026 the Seat Matrix of medical colleges. The Seat Matrix (details of vacant seats) gives details of seats available and intake capacity in different medical colleges of Maharashtra.
Candidates are advised to study the seat matrix before option and choice submission. According to Revised Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 Counselling Schedule, candidates will be able to submit options and choices from August 26 to 29, 2026 up to 05:30 PM.
The Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Result will be released on August 30, 2026, candidates should note.
“Based on the options submitted, the CET Cell will publish the 2026 NEET UG 1st Selection List, CAP Round - 1 Selection List, for MBBS and BDS courses on August 30, 2026”, the CET Cell said.
The date and time of Physical Joining and Filling of Status Retention Form is from August 31 to September 04, 2026, the CET Cell said.

Maharashtra CET Cell conducts MBBS, BDS, BUMS and counselling for other medical and dental course after the declaration of NEET UG result. Candidates should note that Merit List is prepared on the basis of the NEET rank, score and marks. The Selection and Seat Allotment List are released later based on the rank of students in the Merit List.
