arrested for supplying drugs in Punjab colleges

Sahib (Punjab): A 23-year-old student was arrested here
for selling smack in various colleges across Punjab, police said
Saturday.
Ranjit Singh alias Deepa is a student of Industrial Training
Institute (ITI) at Budhlada town in Mansa district, police
inspector Bikramjit Brar said.
Ranjit was arrested late Friday from Mandi Gobindgarh town here,
he added.
"Ranjit was in this business for the past seven months. He said he
was running this network with the help of canteen contractors,
peons and hostel attendants. He brought smack from different parts
of Haryana and Chandigarh and we are trying to ascertain the
source of the contraband," he added.
Police also recovered over 500 grams of smack from his possession.
