              Bhopal:

to two brave women on International Women's Day Tuesday, around
two thousand tribal women were being rounded up by the police as
they marched to his house to demand ownership papers to their land
              in Madhya Pradesh.

Chouhan give away Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Samaj Sewa and Rani

However, a few kilometres away, at least 2,000 tribal women, under
the banner of Action Aid NGO, were arrested by the police as they
were marching towards the chief minister's house.

"Today, we had gathered from 28 districts of the state. But police
held us at different locations and sent atleast 2,000 to jail,"
Sarika Sinha of Action Aid told IANS from the Central Jail.
