              Mainpuri: Renewing his
attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) Congress general
secretary Digvijay Singh today alleged the Sangh engineered bomb
explosions in the country to defame Muslims.

"To defame Muslims, RSS engineered bomb explosions and for that
Muslim youths were arrested, but when the real culprits of
Malegaon were arrested bomb explosions stopped," Digvijay alleged
while addressing a rally of Samajik Chetna Manch Ghosi Yadav
Mahasabha in the stronghold of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav
              here.

Digvijay alleged that not a single statement came from Mulayam
against RSS, because he keeps his options open so that support
              could be taken if required.

He alleged Mulayam, Mayawati and BJP divided people on the lines
              of caste and religion.

Criticising Mayawati-led government in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress
leader alleged corruption was at its peak in the state and farmers
              were being exploited.

price hiked by Rs.5 per litre

Indian oil marketing companies will raise the price of petrol by
Rs.5 per litre, the steepest hike of 8 percent, from Saturday
              midnight.
According to officials, the three state-run companies will
increase the price in a move which is expected to go towards
plugging the losses suffered due to sale of subsidised domestic
              fuel.
