
Mumbai: A US based well-wisher of the Aligarh Muslim University, Musa Dakri has donated a sum of 50 thousand US dollars to the University.

Musa Dakri belongs to Gujarat and has settled in US. He visited the Aligarh Muslim University in the month of January 2014 and met the Vice Chancellor and Pro-Vice Chancellor.
AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah has thanked for his generous contribution.
He said that AMU wanted to establish a world class University Museum in Kennedy Hall. A large number of treasured antiques will be preserved in this Museum.
Gen. Shah also appreciated the efforts of Mr. Latafath Husain, a US based AMU alumnus for his efforts and assured that the world class Museum will be named after the Dakri Family.
