
Mumbai: The State Common Entrance Cell Government of Maharashtra on Friday released the details of vacant seats transferred to the state from the All India Quota and said all these seats will be available for grab in the DMER NEET UG 2017 Third Round of Admissions starting from today.
All India Quota seats (MBBS/BDS) returned to State Quota, will be declared on 18/08/2017. All these seats will be available for third round along with following seats (MBBS/BDS).
- Non Joining during second round.
- Cancellation during second round.
- Vacant seats of persons with disability (PWD).
- Non allotted seats during second round.
"For these seats, Online Application Forms are invited from all the eligible candidates as per NEET-UG 2017 brochure, from 18/08/2017 to 20/08/2017 up to 05.00 pm", the DMER State CET Cell Mumbai said in a statement.

"The preferences filled by the candidates during 18/ 08/2017 to 20/08/2017 will be considered for all the subsequent rounds for admission process to health science courses in the State of Maharashtra.
"All the previous preferences if not edited will be considered for further admission process", the DMER State Common Entrance Cell (State CET Cell) Maharshtra said in the official notification.
The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG -2017) is organized all over India. Students who had cracked 12th standard HSC exam participated in thw test.
After NEET UG 2017 results, every state is individually accepting online registrations for admissions in medical colleges. Accordingly, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra also called for applications from NEET qualifiers.
According to Medical Counselling Committee, out of the total 3500+ seats in Maharashtra, only 15% are “All India Quota Seats” and rest 85% seats are under the State Government.
