
New Delhi: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is likely to declare online the results of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 exams held in 2017 on Monday May 15, multiple media reports said.
Students should note that the council has so far not officially decalred any date. But, the results if and when declared will be accessible online on the official CISCE website "cisce.org".
How to check ICSE Class 10 Results 2017
- Click on the live link 'ICSE' on the website.
- When a new window opens, the candidates have to go to "Reports" and then on "Results" tab to check their scores.
- The candidates should take a print out of the scorecard for future reference.
The results will also be available via SMS. To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X results by SMS, the candidate will require to type ICSE followed by their seven digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
This year, the board conducted the ICSE examination from March 10 to April 21 at various test centres. A total of 2,50,871 students were registered for the examinations this year with 1,76,327 candidates registered for the ICSE and 74,544 for ISC examinations in 2017.
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, which conducts the exams, has from 2016 introduced Live Ink Character Recognition (LICR) technology, which has helped in fast compilation of results.
LICR captures and digitizes marks entered on the top-sheets of answer scripts, and instantly encrypts and transfers the captured data to the Council's cloud based servers directly from the evaluation centers.
In 2016 the results for ICSE and ISC exams both were declared on May 06. The overall pass percentage in 2016 for ICSE was 98.54% while the pass percentage for ISC was 96.56%.
