Tamil Nadu SSLC Examination Results 2017 to be declared on May 19

The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) is likely to declare online Tamil Nadu SSLC Class 10 exam 2017 results on its official website on Friday May 19 at 10:00 am in the morning, multiple media reports have claimed.

After declaration, the TNBSE SSLC Class X exam results 2017 will be available on the official website "tnresults.nic.in" of Tamil Nadu state board of secondary education.

Students are requested to keep all their necessary board exam details ready such as the official roll number, candidate name and Date of birth handy.

How to Check TNBSE SSLC Class X exam results:

Follow the simple steps provided below to easily access their TNBSE SSLC Class X exam results 2017.

  1. Visit the official website "tnresults.nic.in"
  2. Click on TNBSE SSLC Result 2017
  3. Enter your Registration number
  4. Enter Date of Birth in correct format
  5. Click on "Get Marks"
  6. Download and then take a printout of the same.

The Tamil Nadu SSLC Examination 2017 were conducted from March 08 to March 30, 2017 at hundreds of exam centres across the state. As per the board statistics, the maximum number of students wrote examination in the Tamil Medium.

The Tamil Nadu board SSLC results were declared on May 25 in 2016. A total of 10,23,566 students had appeared in 2016 and the state had recorded a pass percentage of 93.60%. R. Sivakumar and Prema Sudha shared the top rank.

The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) declared Plus 2 HSC Class 12 result on Friday May 12. The overall pass percentage on TN Plus 2 was 92.1%, a marginal increase of 0.7% from last year. While the pass percentage for girls was 94.5%, it was 89.3% for boys, as per 2017 results.

The Government of Tamil Nadu have constituted a new Board for School Examination viz "Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination" by merging the existing two separate boards (1) Board of Secondary Education and (2) Board of Higher Secondary Examinations.
