New Delhi: Commenting on the media reports that the CBSE 10th board result 2018 could be declared on May 29, an official said the board has not fixed any date to declare the results of the CBSE 2018 board exams as of now.
"I can only confirm that the CBSE 10th and 12th results will be declared in the last week of the ongoing month May. The exact date and time have not been fixed yet", the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) official said while talking to ummid.com.
There are various dates taking round on the social media about the CBSE 10th results. The board official rejected all such reports and advised the students to wait for the official announcement by the CBSE.
"The exact date and time of result declaration will be announced at least a day in advance. Hence, students should not worry and wait for the official announcement from the board", he said.
Steps to check CBSE 10th result 2018
- Go to the official website cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in
- Click on 'CBSE Class 10 result 2018' link
- Enter your Roll Number, School No. and Centre No.
- Click on "Submit" button
Besides the official website cbseresults.nic.in, CBSE Class Xth result can be checked on cbse.nic.in and results.nic.in. Class 10 CBSE students can also check their results via SMS.
Students can use the numbers are 52001 (MTNL), 57766 (BSNL), 5800002 (Aircel), 55456068 (Idea), 54321, 51234 and 5333300 (Tata Teleservices), 54321202 (Airtel), and 9212357123 (National Informatics Centre) to check their result.
CBSE Class 10th results of all regions including CBSE Delhi, CBSE Mumbai, CBSE Ahmedabad, CBSE Hyderabad, CBSE Chennai, CBSE Bengaluru, CBSE Kolkata, CBSE Kerala and other states will be declared on the same day. The results of CBSE Dubai, CBSE UAE, CBSE Riyadh and other international centers will also be declared simultaneously.
More than 16 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10th 2018 exams held at various centres in India and abroad. The exam was marred by reports of paper leak.
In 2017, CBSE Class 10th result was declared on June 03. A total of 16,67,573 students from 16,354 schools had appeared for the 2017 CBSE Class X exam held at 3,974centres. The CBSE Class 10th pass percentgae in 2017 was 90.95 - about 05% less than 2016.
Trivandrum region had scored the highest pass percentage 99.85 in 2017 followed by Madras at 99.62 per cent and Allahabad at 98.23 per cent. Delhi's pass percentage is dipped by over 13 per cent, 78.09 as against last year's 91.06 per cent.
