Application for Madhya Pradesh MPSET 2018 starts on Oct 11, Last date Nov 11

MPSET 2018 Notification

Indore: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) State Eligibility Test Cell has released on its website the official notification for State Eligibility Test (SET) 2018. The MPSET 2018 notification dated October 06, 2018 has also been published in newspapers.

The Madhya Pradesh SET is Eligibility Test conducted for the recruitment of Assistant Professor in the state.

According to the MPSET 2018 Notification, the SET 2018 exam will be held for 19 different subjects. The online application process will start on October 11, 2018. The last date to apply in online mode is November 11, 2018 and via post the last date is November 29, 2018.

Candidates willing to appear for MPSET 2018 can apply online using wesbites, and

"The MPSET 2018 will be held in computer based online mode", the MPSSC said.

After registration, if a candidate wants to make correction, he or she can do so between October 14 to November 14, 2018.

MPSET 2018 Eligibility

The candidates who have completed Master's degree in a relevant subject (55% marks for General category and 50% for reserved category) or are in the last year/semester of Master's degree are eligible to appear for MP SET 2018.

MPSET 2018 Pattern

The MPSET 2018 exam will have two papers. Paper 1 is compulsory and will cover topics like general awareness, teaching and research aptitude. The Paper 1 would comprise of 50 objective type questions. The total duration of the Paper 1 would be 60 minutes.

Paper 2 of the MPSET will be subject oriented and will have 100 objective type questions carrying 2 marks each. The total duration of Paper 2 is 120 minutes.
