KEA Karnataka UG NEET AYUSH Counselling 2018: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is set to start today i.e. Tuesday September 11, 2018 on its website kea.kar.nic.in Online Option Entry by the students seeking admission in various AYUSH (ISMH) courses for the academic year 2018-19.

Steps for KEA AYUSH ISMH Option Entry 2018

- Click on the link "UG NEET-2018 AYUSH Option Entry".
- In the new page which gets opened, enter User ID, Password, Security Code and click to Log in.
- Follow the instructions and complete option entry.
The KEA Karnataka Option Entry and Seat allotment Schedule for AYUSH Courses further says that AYUSH Seat Allotment Result 2018 will be published on September 16, 2018 at 04:00 pm whereas verification of documents for newly resgistered candidates will start on September 14, 2018.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) had earlier said that the candidates who have registered for admission to various AYUSH (ISMH) courses but not entered their NEET Roll Number should immediately do so on or before September 12, 2018.
"The candidates, who have verified their documents at KEA but not given/entered their NEET Roll Number to KEA, should compulsorily enter their NEET roll number to become eligible for admission to AYUSH Courses. The NEET roll number has to be entered online by selecting the appropriate link on the KEA Website on or before September 12, 2018", the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) said on Sunday.
For selection of these AYUSH Courses (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Homoeopathy), Karnataka candidates should have secured 50 % in PCB in the qualifying examination (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates) and qualified in UG NEET-2018 are only eligible. The AYUSH seats will be allotted based on the NEET All India Rank and options entered by the candidates.
"The Karnataka candidates who have applied through online from September 01 to September 04 and paid the fees have to attend document verification with all the necessary original documents on the notified dates for admission to AYUSH courses", the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) said.
"The candidates who have entered NEET roll number but not verified their documents for any discipline should also attend the document verification with all the necessary original documents on the notified dates for admission to AYUSH courses", it said.
"The candidates who have already entered NEET Roll number and verified their documents need not verify their documents once again", it added.
"The candidates who have selected Medical or Veterinary seat and reported to the allotted college are not eligible to participate in this AYUSH round. Interested eligible candidates can exercise their options for AYUSH courses as per the schedule to become eligible for allotment of seats in the order of merit", the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) said.
"The candidates who are admitted to the college and pursuing their studies in the college are here by informed to participate in this round in consultation with their parents and only if they are interested in AYUSH courses", it said.
