Mumbai: Raunak Majumdar, a student of IIT Kanpur, has topped the CAT 2018 (Common Admission Test) results of which was declared today.
Raunak Majumdar has scored a perfect 100 per centile. Majumdar, 22-year-old from Thane near Mumbai, is currently working with an American multinational finance company.
Besides Majumdar, 10 other candidates have also scored perfect 100 per centile. However, Mjaumdar has been declared as the CAT 2018 topper.
The results of CAT 2018 (Common Admission Test) held in November 2018 have been declared on the official website iimcat.ac.in today i.e. January 05, 2019 and they are now available for download from the official website.
"CAT 2018 Score Card is Live and available for download", the Indian Institute of Management (IIM Calcutta) said in a one line message posted on CAT 2018 official website.
The link of the CAT 2018 result is avaliable on the CAT website, the list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection have been made available on the website of the respective IIMs.
CAT 2018 score is valid only till December 31, 2018 and will accordingly be accessible on the website.
The CAT 2018 result was supposed to be declared on January 08. However it was preponed after the CAT 2018 results were leaked on the CAT website.
Performance in CAT 2018 examination is an important component for consideration in the selection process. IIMs may also use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in shortlisting of candidates at various stages of the selection process.

Over two lakh candidates had appeared for the CAT 2018 that was conducted on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at various centres across India. Those who clear CAT 2018 will be eligible for admission to management courses, including PGP, PGDM, PGPEM, EPGP, PGPBM, PGPEX at the IIMs and other management colleges across the country.
Along with CAT 2018 score card and result, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM Calcutta) has also released CAT 2018 Scoring and Equating Process. Candidates can download the same in PDF format.
