Sainik School Entrance Examination 2019-20 Session: The Sainik School Society has published on its official website sainikschooladmission.in AISSEE Sample Question Papers for Class IX and Class VI even as the Online Registration Process for All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2020 (AISSEE 2020) is underway.
Parents who wish to admit their wards in Sainik Schools should note that Online Registration for AISSEE 2020 has started from August 05, 2019. The last date to apply is Septmber 23, 2019.
The Sainik Society will conduct All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2020 (AISSEE 2020) on Sunday January 05, 2020. AISSEE 2020 Admit Card will be released on December 02, 2019.
The Sainik School Entrance Examination 2020 Result and Merit List will be published between February 03 to February 07, 2020. Medical Exam of the candidates will be tentatively held between February 20 to March 10, 2020.
"The Sainik School Society will publish the Final Merit List and Waiting List on March 20, 2020", Board of Governors, Sainik School Society, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi said.
Overall admission to wards of willing parents based on Combined Merit List, category-wise by deficient schools will be held between March 28 to 30, 2020", it added.
"Date of intimation of surplus/deficient candidates category-wise to all Sainik Schools is March 31, 2020", it said.
The All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2020 (AISSEE) is the National-level entrance exam for admission to Class 6th and Class 9th in Sainik Schools across the Country.
"The Entrance Examination will be held for admission to class VI & IX. Boys who are between the age of 10 to 12 years and 13 to 15 years respectively on 31st March of the year in which admission is sought are eligible to take the Entrance Examination", the Sainik School Society said.
"For admission to Class IX, the boys should be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school. Admission will be made strictly in order of merit only in classes VI and IX", it added.
The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates as well as children of Defence Services Personnel and ex-servicemen will be 25% in each subject with 40% in aggregate.
In case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates, minimum qualifying standards are not required and they will be admitted on the basis of inter-se merit at the Entrance Examination within these categories. In case, a SC/ST candidate comes in the General Merit on his own, he would be admitted against general seat and will not be adjusted against the reserved share of SC/ST seats.
"The Merit List for admission to the Sainik School would be compiled on the basis of marks obtain by the candidate", the Sainik School Society said.
In case there is a tie with regard to overall marks, the marks for mathematics would be considered. In case there is a tie here also the marks for English for Class IX and Intelligence Test for class VI will be considered and thereafter the marks for General Science for class IX and Language for class VI. In case there is a tie there also the boy younger in age will be selected.
"Marks obtained in the written test will determine his position in the Final Merit List", the society said.
The AISSEE 2019 was held on January 6, 2019 for admission in 26 Sainik Schools at Amaravathinagar, Ambikapur, Balachadi, Bhubaneswar, Bijapur, Chhingchhip, Chittorgarh, Ghorakhal, Goalpara, Gopalganj, Imphal, Kalikiri (AP), Kapurthala, Kazakoottam, Kogaru, Korukonda, Kunjpura, Nagrota, Nalanda, Punglwa, Purulia, Rewa, Rewari, Satara, Sujanpur Tira, and Tilaiya.
