ICSE Class 10th Result 2020: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared on its official website cisce.org the results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X (Class 10th) 2020 exam today on Friday July 10, 2020.
"ICSE / ISC 2020 Examination Results will be declared on Friday, 10th July 2020 at 3:00 pm", the Council said in a single line message posted on its official website.
The overall Pass Percentage ICSE 10th 2020 exam is 99.33 - a marginal improvement as compared to 2019 when the pass percentage was 98.54. The council said it will not release Merit List and details of toppers due to extra ordinary condition arising becuase of Covid-19 pandemic.
The ICSE 2020 results will also be available via SMS. To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X (Class 10th) 2020 exam results by SMS, the candidate will require to type ICSE followed by their seven digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
According to the 2020 Time Table released by the CISCE, the ICSE 2020 Class X exams was scheduled to be held from February 27 to March 30, 2020. The ICSE exam however was postponed because of the coronavirus lockdown clamped on March 24.
The CISCE later cancelled the pending papers following Supreme Court order and announced an assessment policy for result and score calculation policy.

Average of a candidate’s best three papersmarks in the board examination (A):The average of the best threepercentage marks obtained from among the papers the candidate has appeared for in the board examination. 2. Subject internal assessment: Total marks obtained by the candidate in the internal assessment of the papers. 3. Percentage subject internal assessment(B):Percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the internal assessment of the paper. Note that it is the marks obtained for internal assessment, expressed as a percentage

"The components used to arrive at the formula to award the marks in the paperswhich have an internal assessment component is limited to the internal assessment marks in the papers and the performance of the candidates in the board examination in the papers that they have already appeared for so far, measured through their average marks obtainedin the best threepapers", CISCE said in an official notification.

The overall pass percentage in ICSE Class X 2019 exam was 98.54%. A total of 193,413 students had passed the 2019 ICSE exam held at various exam centres in India and abroad.
