Maharashtra Class 10 SCC, Class 12 HSC Result 2020: Rejecting the rampant speculations in the media, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) said the declaration of Class 10 SSC and Class 12 HSC 2020 results will take some more time.
"All the news regarding Maharashtra Board Exam result 2020 circulating in the media and different social networking sites are baseless and mere speculations", the board secretary said.
"We have not yet confirmed any date to release the Maharashtra board SSC result 2020 and Maharashtra board HSC result 2020", he said.
"The board will inform well in advance whenever a date to declare the 2020 board exam results is finalised", he said.
According to the MSBSHSE sources, the declaration of results is taking time because of the delay in evaluation of answer sheets due to Coronavirus lockdown imposed following the spread of Coronavirus in India.
The Maharashtra board normally declares Class 12th HSC result in the last week of May and the SSC Matric result in the first week of June.
The Maharashtra board also has a tradition of announcing the date and time of result declaration a day or two in advance.
Maharashtra 12th and 10th exams 2020 were conducted in February and March 2020. While the board was able to complete the whole of 12th HSC exams before the nationwide lockdown was clamped on March 24, it could not conduct the last paper of SSC Class 10 Matric exam.
After a long deliberations considering the worsening Coronavirus situation in Maharashtra, it was decided to cancel the remaining paper of 2020 SSC exam. The score will be calculated based on internal assessment and the marks a student obtains in other papers.
Once declared, the Maharashtra board 10th and 12th results will be available on mahresult.nic.in and a number of other websites.
