Mumbai: A 'Boycott UAE' campaign started on Twitter Tuesday by Ali Keskin, who claims to be supporter of Pakistan and Turkey alliance, backfired and boomeranged on his face when a number of netizens reminded him the support UAE had always extended to the Islamic country in South Asia.
"United Arab Emirates is now the enemy of Turkey. I ask all our Muslim friends to impose sanctions on the UAE. #BoycottUAE", Ali Keski, who identifies himself as "Cyber Security Specialist and Journalist", wrote on Twitter and asked Pakistanis to trend the hashtag.

Ali was however soon bombarded with messages that reminded him the support UAE and other Arab countries have extended to Pakistan in its difficult times.
Welldone my dear Pakistani brothers & sisters for trending #BoycottUAE but kindly note we own them $30 bn.If we 200 million Pakistanis sell 1 kidney, 1 eye in Int market we can get $33 bn. Let us return their money & with extra $3 bn we can have free biryani for next 3 yrs.— Zaidu (@TheZaiduLeaks) May 19, 2020

In another tweet, in an attempt to instigate Pakistanis, Ali Keskin wrote, "We boycott the United Arab Emirate, which remains quiet despite being Muslim in the Kashmir crisis and supports India. #BoycottUAE".
To this Salar Sultanzai, former ASG PTI Balochistan, hit back saying, "You should not be instigating Pakistanies against a brotherly Muslim country. UAE govt might have its policies but the people of the two countries share same level of mutual respect and love for eachother like Pakistanies & Turks. Unfollowing you for such awful exploit!"
Not only Pakistanis, Ali Keskin is also being slammed by the Emiratis. "The #UAE doesn’t need ideologically indoctrinated fools like you Ali!", Nervana Mahmoud, a doctor, wrote on Twitter.
Hassan Sajwani a businessman, slamming Ali Keskin, wrote on Twitter:
When you’ll come begging for a job in Dubai or Abu Dhabi , then we will ask you who is the terrorist !— حسن سجواني Hassan Sajwani (@HSajwanization) May 19, 2020

Turkey bats for Muslim unity but never missed a chance to do otherwise. From public platforms, Turkey criticizes the United States and Israel for their anti-Muslim and anti-Islam policies. Though having a very strong ties with not only the US but also with Israel.
In the midst of Ali Keskin's "BoycottUAE" call some netizens also highlighted this point.
I m agree to #BoycottUAE but my dear Turkey is also friend of Israel pic.twitter.com/zbP3BjNdqR— RathoreBaba (@wasisays14) May 19, 2020
