UPSC 2023 Results Out, Aditya India Topper; Ruhani, Nausheen Among Top 10

UPSC Civil Services 2023 Result declared: A total number of 1016 candidates have been recommended for IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and other civil services posts.

UPSC Civil Services Result 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final result of Civil Services exams held in May 2023 and Personal Interviews conducted in February/April 2024 today on Tuesday April 16.

Aditya Srivastava has bagged the first rank, Animesh Pradhan got the second rank, Donuru Ananya Reddy secured the third rank, while Ruhani, Nausheen and five others figured in the Top 10.

UPSC CSE 2023 Topper Aditya Srivstava hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He has obtained dual degree (B Tech and M Tech) from IIT Kanpur.

Category wise UPSC result

A total number of 1016 candidates have been recommended by the Union Public Service Commission for IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and other civil services posts.

Of the 1016 in the Civil Services Merit List, a total of 347 are from General Category, 115 from Economic Weaker Sections, 303 from OBC, 165 from Scheduled Caste and 86 from Scheduled Tribe category.

A total of 2,844 Civil Services aspirants had cracked the CSE Main Exam 2023 and were called for the personal test held in three phases.

The Personal Tests of 1,026 candidates were conducted from January 02 to February 16, 2024 in Phase I, according to the schedule released by the UPSC.

The Personal Interviews of 1,003 candidates were conducted from February 19 to March 15, 2024 in Phase II.

The Phase III of UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 concluded on April 09, 2024. Under this phase, the Union Public Services Commission conducted the Personal Interviews of 817 candidates.

31 from Jamia Millia RCA in Merit List

A total of 151 candidates, including Nausheen, from Jamia Islamia Free Coaching Centre appeared in the written test, 71 appeared in the personal interview and 31 finally selected for various civil services posts. Of them 11 are girls.

Civil Services Topper Nausheen is from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The 1016 recommended candidates will be post on various Civil Services posts including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ based on their ranks.
