JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Toppers List: The National Testing Agency (NTA) early in the morning Thursday released the result of JEE Main 2024 Session 2 (JEE Main April 2024) along with the Toppers List, AIR list, Cut off and complete analysis of the result sheet.
The NTA activated three different links to check the result. According to the NTA, JEE Main 2024 cut off is 93.2362181 - higher than 2023 when the cut off was 90.78%.
The NTA had released the JEE Main Session 2 Final Answer Key (Provisional) on April 22, 2024. The JEE Mains result has been announced based on the final answer key.
As many as 56 students from different states have secured a perfect 100 percentile and bagged the first rank. This is 13 more than last year when there were 43 students with 100 percentile score.
Among the 56 JEE Main 2024 Toppers, two candidates - Sanvi Jain from Karnataka and Shayna Sinha from Delhi, are girls. The rest are male candidates.
Telangana has reported 15 - the highest number of 100 percentilers, in JEE Main 2024 like last year. In 2023, there were 11 students from Telangana who had scored 100 percentiler. This is followed by Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, from where 7 students each appeared in the JEE Main Merit List, as compared to 2 and 5 in 2023 respectively.
Delhi NCR’s figure of number of 100 percentilers increased from 2 in 2023 to 6 in 2024, followed by Rajasthan with 7 toppers.
Uttar Pradesh, which had 04 toppers last year, only has 01 such candidate this time. The states like West Bengal, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh also have fewer number of JEE Toppers this year as compared to 2023.
Gajare Nilkrishna Nirmalkumar, Dakshesh Sanjay Mishra, Aarav Bhatt and Aaditya Kumar are among JEE Main 2024 Top Rank holders.
JEE Main 2024 Cut off for General category candidates is 93.23 which is up from 90.77 in 2023, up from 88.4 in 2022, 87.9 in 2021. The qualifying scores for general candidates were 90.3 and 89.7 in 2020 and 2019, respectively.
Students must be among the top 250,000 scorers (including all categories) in the B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2024 to be eligible for JEE Advanced. Seats. JEE Advanced 2024 will be held on May 26, 2024.
The National Testing Agency had conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2024 Session 2 on 04, 05, 06, 08, and 09 April 2024 (Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech.) at various centres located in 319 Cities across India including 22 cities outside of the country.
In JEE Mains 2024 Session 2 exams, a total of 10.67 lakh candidates had appeared. Of them, 7.83 lakh were males and 3.29 lakh were girls, according to the NTA.
As many as 8.22 lakh students appeared for JEE Main 2024 Session 1 and 2 both the exams. Number of unique candidates who appeared for the both the session ia around 1.41 lakh.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) had conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2024 Session 1 on 24 January 2024 (Paper 2A: B.Arch. and Paper 2B: B.Planning) on 27, 29, 30, 31 January 2024 and 01 February 2024 (Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech.) at 544 Centres located in 291 cities across the Country (including 21 cities outside India).
The result of JEE Main 2024 Session 1 was announced on February 11, 2024.
Candidates should note that the NTA will publish JEE Main 2024 Merit List and JEE Main Toppers List 2024 based on the scores of candidates in Session 1 and Session 2 exams.
