New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), a Central University committed to academic excellence, has partnered with DeBox Global IT Solutions Pvt Ltd (DèBõx) to implement the innovative VECOSPACE platform, aimed at fostering a dynamic ecosystem connecting students, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals.

The platform will help the industry integration with the university and meet the objectives of NEP in the field of internships, Industry mentorships and industry interaction.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) exchange ceremony took place in the office of University Placement Cell (UPC), JMI in the presence of Teacher Placement Coordinators. This MOU was signed with the approval of competent authority and implemented under the able leadership of officiating Vice Chancellor Prof. Eqbal Hussain.

The occasion witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Director of Training & Placement, Prof (Dr.) Rahela Farooqi, Director of DèBõx, Syed Asim, Director · Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Prof (Dr.) Rihan Khan Suri, Deputy Director of Training and Placement, Prof. (Dr). Sabah Khan, and Teacher Placement Coordinators from various departments of the university.

Through this collaboration, JMI aims to leverage the comprehensive features of VECOSPACE to empower its student community with enhanced opportunities for growth and development.

Prof (Dr.) Rahela Farooqi, Director of Training & Placement, JMI, formally handed over the MOU to Syed Asim, Director of DèBõx, marking the beginning of a partnership poised to revolutionize student engagement and professional development within the university.

Speaking about the collaboration, Prof (Dr.) Rahela Farooqi remarked:

“We are excited to embark on this journey with DèBõx to introduce VECOSPACE to our student community. This platform aligns perfectly with our vision to provide holistic support and opportunities for our students to excel academically and professionally”.

Asim, Director of DèBõx, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating:
