DTE Maharashtra Post SSC Diploma Admission 2024: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra is set to start soon the online registration for Polytechnic or Post SSC Diploma admissions in various courses for the year 2024-25.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra conducts online admission for various diploma courses including Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Production Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and others.

The entire admission process is done online and involves various CAP Rounds.

DTE Maharashtra Post SSC Diploma 2024 Admission Schedule

The admission process for the DTE Post SSC Diploma courses start after the announcement of the Class 10 or SSC result.

Since the Maharashtra board has already announced the Class 10 result 2024, the online admission process and registration for Post SSC Diploma and Polytechnic admission 2024 should start in the next couple of days.

Students participating in the DTE Maharashtra Post SSC Diploma Admission 2024 Counselling should note that online registration will be done through the official website “dte.maharashtra.gov.in”.

The Directorate has launched the admission website and will now soon publish detailed counselling schedule and CAP round dates.

Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2024 - Steps

  1. Candidates should also note that once the admission process starts, the first step is to register online. For registration, a link will be made available using which the students should register themselves.
  2. While filling the registration form, students will be required to pay the counselling fees and submit the documents necessary for the admission in the Polytechnic courses.
  3. Students should note that the documents can be submitted offline at FCs or online using the link of the DTE Maharashtra admission website. List of the documents can be found on the website.
  4. Once registration is done, candidates will now need to wait for the release of the Merit List. The DTE Maharashtra will first release Provisional Merit List. It will then ask the candidates to check their name and other details are registered correctly and all their documents uploaded properly.
  5. Two to three days after the release of the provisional merit list, Final Merit List.
  6. The next step after the release of the final merit list is Option Form submission. Candidates will be required to submit their options and college choice using the online form.
  7. Based on the candidates ranking in the final merit list and the options submitted, DTE Maharashtra will then publish the DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2024 CAP Round 1 allotment status.
  8. If the students are satisfied with the allotted colleges, they can confirm their admission and pay the fees. If not satisfied, they can opt out of Round 1 and participate in CAP Round 2.

Post SSC Diploma admission in Maharashtra is conducted for First Year Engineering in Civil, Mechanical, Information Technology (IT), Computer Engineering group, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering group and other streams.

To help students in filling the option form and know the available seats - actual and vacant, in various colleges, DTE Maharashtra also provides Seat Matrix which can be accessed from the DTE Maharashtra website.
