

Hajj 2027: The Haj Committee of India has released the second waiting list for Hajj 2027 (Hajj 1448 H), asking 1,143 pilgrims to confirm their seats by depositing the payment before September 14, 2026.
“As on date, 1,143 Haj seats have become available due to cancellations of provisionally allotted seats.
“Accordingly, waitlisted applicants are required to deposit Rs. 152,300/- (Advance Haj Amount – Rs. 150,000/- + Miscellaneous Dues Rs. 2,000/- and Non-Refundable Processing Fee Rs. 300/-) of the Advanced Haj Amount latest by September 14, 2026”, the Haj Committee of India said in notification released Tuesday.
As per the Haj Committee of India notification dated September 01, 2026 released Monday, in the state wise Hajj 2027 second waiting list pilgrims from:
83 to 90 in Chhattisgarh, 344 to 391 in Delhi NCR, 673 to 743 in Gujarat, 1,169 to 1,428 in Karnataka, 874 to 993 in Kerala, 552 to 627 in Madhya Pradesh, 1,959 to 2,315 in Maharashtra, 23 to 25 in Manipur, 501 to 556 in Tamil Nadu, and 695 to 833 in Telangana.
... have been asked to deposit the Haj Amount of Rs. 152,300/- by September 14, 2026 to confirm their pilgrimage to Makkah.
If your name mentioned in the Haj waiting list is as per the serial numbers starting with "WL" mentiond above it means you are one of the 1,143 pilgrims provisionally selected from the second wait list.
Please note your selection from the Haj waiting list will be provisional unless you pay the Advanced Haj Amount before the due date.
Haj Advanced amount payment can be made through E-Payment facility available on the Haj Committee of India website, or Haj Suvidha App using Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking / UPI or through bank transfer in SBI or Union Bank of India in the Haj Committee of India account.
After depositing the payment, the pilgrims must upload signed copy of Hajj Application Form (HAF), copy of pay-in-slip, and medical and fitness certificate to the Haj Committee of India on September 14, 2026.
Pilgrims wishing to perform Hajj latest season should note that the Haj Committee of India had conducted the Qurrah or draw of lots on July 30, 2026.
After the Hajj 2027 qurrah conducted through Random Digital Selection process, a total of 77,952 pilgrims were put in the waiting list.
From the Haj 2027 waiting list of 77,952 pilgrims, a total of 6,864 pilgrims have been selected in the first Hajj waiting list released on August 19, 2026. The Haj Committee now released the second waiting list of 1,143 pilgrims on its official website. These 1,143 pilgrims from various states are now required to make the payment to confirm their seats.
Pilgrims whose names are down in the list of the waiting list should note that seats remaining vacant after the pilgrims in the Second Haj Waiting List fail to make the payment before the due date.
The Hajj 2027 (Hajj 1448) third waiting list will be released any time after September 14, 2026 which is the last date of payment for the waitlist pilgrims in the first waiting list Hajj 2027.
The Hajj 2027 Action Plan has not released yet the date and time of inbound and outbound flights from India to Saudi Arabia and vice-versa. However, inbound flights are expected to begin around early May 2027 (tentatively 2–10 May, 2026). Return flights run after the pilgrimage, roughly late May to mid-June 2027.
Last year, there were a total of 18 Embarkation Points (EPs). For Haj 2027, the total number of embarkation points will be 19.

1. Srinagar, 2. Gaya, 3. Guwahati, 4. Indore, 5. Patna, 6. Jaipur, 7. Nagpur, 8. Delhi, 9. Mumbai, 10. Kolkata, 11. Bengaluru, 12. Hyderabad, 13. Cochin, 14. Chennai, 15. Ahmedabad, 16. Lucknow, 17. Kannur, 18. Vijayawada, 19. Calicut
Last year, Haj pilgrims also travelled from Bhopal and Aurangabad (Sambhaji Nagar). The two embarkation points however are not in the list in 2027. Also, Patna embarkation point will be confirmed after clearance from MoCA and MHA. Hajjpilgrimage services
In case of number of passengers travelling from an EP goes above or below the economic operation of the air charter services, MoMA reserves the right to reallocate the passengers to any other EP in the interest of smooth air charter operations and air safety protocols, the HCoI said.
"The Haj flight schedule will be published in due course", Haj Committee of India said.
The likely date of Hajj 2027 is May 16 to 21, 2027. The final date of Haj 2027 (1448), however, will be confirmed after Dhul Hijjah 1448 AH moon sighting.
