Jaunpur (UP): A local court directed the police to lodge a case against four cabinet ministers of Uttar Pradesh and five other persons in connection with an article published in a magazine allegedly denigrating Hindu Gods, Goddesses and epics.
On an application filed by one Radhey Shyam Varma, Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohd Ashraf Ansari has directed the police to lodge an FIR against cabinet ministers Swami Prasad Maurya, Babu Singh Kushwaha, Naseemuddin Siddiqui and Daddu Prasad and five others.
The application said that in May issue of monthly magazine "Ambedkar Today" an article 'Vedic Brahmins and their Religion' was published in which allegedly objectionable comments were made against Hindu Gods, Goddesses and epics.
