London:
A hibernating dormouse has become an internet hit after his
comical snoring was caught on film, according to a media report
Tuesday.
The slumbering rodent was discovered during a Surrey Wildlife
Trust (SWT) survey of nesting boxes in woods near Leatherhead,
Daily Express reported.
He slept on when picked up to be weighed and continued snoring
while ecologists made a video.
The YouTube clip has had more than 146,000 hits, even though the
camera failed to capture the snore sound, described by SWT as a
"loud whistle".
