Leukemia-stricken Pakistani girl made princess for a day

Sarah Imran, a seven-year-old Pakistani girl suffering from leukemia was made a princess for a whole day, thanks to the Make A-Wish Foundation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Princess Sarah was accorded a warm welcome on her arrival at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in the UAE's capital Abu Dhabi by a number of students and hotel staff alike, it was reported Saturday.

Sarah is under treatment at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain in this Gulf nation. Her mother expressed gratitude to the Make-A- Wish Foundation for making her daughter's wish come true.

The mission of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
