Lucknow: The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has finished the process of Answer Sheets and Rankings, and is now all set to declare JEECUP and UP Polytechnic result 2016 very soon, it is reliably learnt.
If multiple reports are to be beleived, the JEECUP and UP Polytechnic results 2016 might be declared today i.e. Tuesday June 07, 2016 any time by evening.
Once declared, the JEECUP and UP Polytechnic result 2016 will be published on www.jeecup.org and www.jeecup.nic.in.
The Joint Entrance Examination Council (JEE(P)-2016) Uttar Pradesh has not disclosed the exact timing for making the results public and official websites are also not displaying any notification but while talking to the media, JEECUP Secretary FR Khan said that the result will be announced after the process of answer sheets and ranking is complete.
"The answer key and provisional marks will be made available on 4th June on official website. After concluding this process, the UP Polytechnic result will be released by 7th June", Shivakant Dwivedi, the Special Secretary of JEECUP, has been quoted as saying.
The answer sheets were displayed online on Saturday and the process of submitting challenges was concluded yesterday on 6th June, 8 pm. Therefore it is expected that the JEECUP and UP Polytechnic result 2016 will be declared any moment.s
The JEECUP UP Polytechnic examination 2016 was held on May 01 at around 1,200 test centres.
JEECUP and UP Polytechnic result 2016 was initially scheduled to be declared on May31, but was postponed to June 02 as per the council’s statement. Failing to meet the deadline, the council the results will be declared on June 05, but it was postponed again, media reports said.
According the the latest report from council sources, it’s expected that JEECUP result 2016 is likely to be declared by today evening or in next two days.
To bring transparency in the exam, Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) had made the answer keys available on 4 June, making candidates able to know how much of their attempted answer are correct in the test. The Council had called more than 100 teachers from different centers to settle the challenges against answer keys within 48 hours, between 4 June to 6 June.
Nearly 4,70,379 candidates who took JEECUP 2016 for getting admission in around 56 trades of polytechnic colleges in the state will be able to access their scores once the results are declared.
