CBSE 2018 Practical

New Delhi:
The CBSE Class 12 and Class 10 Practical Exams will begin from January 16, 2018, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said in a statement.

At the same time, it is reported that the 2018 Class 12 and 10 theory exams are likely to be delayed by about fornight, though the CBSE is yet to release the final date sheet.

According to the CBSE Circular, the 2018 Class 12 and Class 10 Practical exams in schools and junior colleges will begin from January 16. The schools and junior colleges are asked to upload the practical marks on the CBSE website by February 25, 2018.

The CBSE Class 12 and Class 10 Date Sheet for the 2018 exams are yet to be released. However, multiple media reports have claimed that the 2018 Class 12 and Class 10 CBSE exams, instead of February, will begin in March.

Students should keep in mind that these are mere speculations as long as the CBSE does not release official notification or the CBSE Time Table for Class 12 and Class 10 Exams 2018 are released.

Some reports have claimed that the Date Sheet (Time Table) is expected to be released by the end week of December or in the first week of January, 2018.

The CBSE Class X and Class XII both exams in 2017 began on March 09, 2017. But, while the Class X exam ended on April 10, the Class XII 2017 exam continued till April 29. The 2017 CBSE Class 12 and Class 10 exams were delayed because of the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was founded on November 3, 1962. It's headquartered at Preet Vihar, New Delhi. CBSE regulates and supervises the development of education in the country.

The primary function of the CBSE includes preparing academic programmes and organising examinations, especially for Class 10 and Class 12 students. CBSE was established in 1962.
