Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) is set to declare online the results of Second Year Pre-University (PUC) or Class 12 results today i.e. May 11 at 03:00 pm in the afternoon, it is officially confirmed by the board.
“Much awaited PUC results to be announced on 11th May Thursday 2017 at 3.00 PM and SSLC results on 12th May Friday 2017 at 3.00 PM - official", Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait said in a tweet.
Students can check their results from the official website of the department or "pue.kar.nic.in" or "karresults.nic.in".
How to check Karnataka PUC 2017 results:
- Go to the official website "pue.kar.nic.in" or "karresults.nic.in"
- Click on the relevant link
- Enter your roll number, date of birth in the correct format
- Click on Submit
- Your results should appear on the screen. Take a printout for future use
The Karnataka PUC 2017 exams were conducted from March 9 to March 27. Colleges prepare cut-offs for undergraduate courses on the basis of pass percentage in Karnataka Board PUC exams. The admissions are granted to different undergraduate courses considering the merit in the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams.
Lakhs of students enroll in Pre-University courses every year in Karnataka and DPUE offers 23 subjects, 11 languages and 50 combinations for the pre-university curriculum for Class 11 and 12 students.
Last year, 5,98,264 students participated in the Karnataka PCU Examination 2016. The results were declared on May 25 and the overall pass percentage was 91% in 2016.
The Department of Pre-University, Government of Karnataka is a regulatory body that manages and looks after the higher secondary education in the state. The department operates under the Department of Primary & Secondary Education of the state government and is entrusted the responsibility to develop higher education in Karnataka. The PUE Department, Karnataka also conducts the annual Karnataka 2nd PU Board Exam in the state.
