Jaipur: The results of the Rajasthan board Class Intermediate Class 12 or HSC 2017 exams of Commerce and Science streams have been declared today i.e. Monday May 15, 2017 as expected and they are now online on the board's website as well ass some associate websites.
The Rajasthan board Ajmer has declared online the Class 12 results 2017 of Science and Commerce streams only. Results of Arts stream will be declared later on.
Rajasthan Education Minister Vasudev Devnani declared the results at 12:30 pm.
The results have been officially published on the board website: "rajresults.nic.in", and some alternate websites for convenience of students.Information regarding results can also be found on "bserexam.com" and "rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in".

This is the first time in the last 50 years that the Rajasthan board has decied not to declare the names of toppers or release a Merit List. The decision was taken by the board in its last meeting.
The board has however released the overall pass percentage and a brief analysis of the results. According to, the girl students have shined in the 2017 RSEB Class Science and Commerce stream exams this year also.
In Science stream girl students recorded a pass percentage of 93.30 wheras boys' pass percentage stands at 89.21.
In Commerce stream, girl students recorded a pass percentage of 95.27 wheras boys' pass percentage stands at 88.56.
Multiple media reports, including IndiaResults - associate website of boards to display results of various board exams, had earlier claimed that the Rajasthan board HSC Class 12 Inter 2017 exam result will most probably be declared at 12:15 pm on Monday May 15, 2017.
The results were however declared at around 12:30 pm after a delay of some 15 minutes.
The Rajasthan Board Senior Secondary Examination SSE Class 12 exams 2017 were conducted from March 02 and concluded on March 25. About 2.35 lakh candidates appeared for the Science stream exams and some 49,000 students appeared for the Commerce stream exams in 2017.
In 2016, the Jaipur board Class 12 results were declared on May 16, 2017. As many as 8,05,564 students of all three streams had appeared for the exams. About 1,97,000 Science stream students and 51,524 Commerce stream students had in 2016 appeared for the Class 12 Board exam.

With the promulgation of the Rajasthan Secondary Education Act in 1957, this Board was set up in Jaipur on 4th Dec, 1957. It was shifted to Ajmer in 1961. In the year 1973 it began functioning in its present multistoried building with an enchanting dignity of its own with all amenities.
