Telangana Intermediate 1st, 2nd year 2018 exams start March 1 with language papers

The first and second year Intermediate 2018 exams in Telangana will start from March 01 and continue till March 20, according to the time table of the annual exams released by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) Thursday.

While the theory papers of Intermediate first year will begin from March 01, the second year Intermediate exams will commence from March 03.

The practical exams of 1st and 2nd years both will be conducted from February 2 to February 22, 2018.

The timing of theory papers will be from 09:00 sm to 12:00 pm whereas that of practical exams is 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.

The Telangana board Intermedicate first year exam will begin on March 01, 2018 with 2nd language paper II followed by English Paper I on March 05, Mathematics Paper 1A, Botany Paper I, Civic Paper I and Psychology Paper I on March 07, Mathematics Paper IB, Zoology Paper I and History Paper I on March 09.

Physics Paper I, Economics Paper I and Classical Language Paper I will be held on March 12 whereas Chemistry Paper I, Commerce Paper I, Sociology Paper I, and Fine Art and Music Paper I will be conducted on March 14.

Geology Paper I, Home Science Paper I, Public Administarion Paper I, Logic Paper I and Bridge Course Maths Paper I for BIPC candidates will be held on March 16.

The last paper of Telangana board Intermediate 1st year 2018 exam will be of Modern Language Paper I and Geography Paper I. It will be held on March 19.

The Telangana board Intermediate 2nd year 2018 exam will begin on March 03, 2018 with 2nd language paper II followed by English language paper II exam on March 06.

Mathematics Paper IIA, Botany Paper II, Civic Paper II and Psychology Paper II will be held on March 08, Mathematics Paper IIB, Zoology Paper II and History Paper II will be conducted on March 10.

Physics Paper II, Economics Paper II and Classical Language Paper II will be held on March 13 whereas Chemistry Paper II, Commerce Paper II, Sociology Paper II, and Fine Art and Music Paper II will be conducted on March 15.

The last paper of Telangana board Intermediate 2nd year 2018 exam will be of Modern Language Paper II and Geography Paper II. It will be held on March 20.

A total of 4,36,727 students had appeared for the first year and 4,64,903 students had appeared for the second year Telangana board Inter General exams in 2017. In 2018, more than 08 lakh students are expected to appear for the ist and 2nd year Telangana board Intermediate exam.

A total of 2754 colleges are under the Telangana State Board of Intetmediate Education (TSBIE). The Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh has on April 13 released the results of both first and second year.

The Telangana State Board of Intetmediate Education (TSBIE) has the main objective of regulating and supervising the system of intermediate education. It executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting affiliations to colleges and providing direction, support and leadership for all educational institutions under its jurisdiction.
