Sonipat (Haryana): In yet another shocking incident, a girl student of Om Public School in Sonipat, was raped by two school staffers. When she complained to the authorities they ignored her complaint saying "such things happen".
The stunned rape victim has now written a letter to the police, a copy of which has also been sent to the Prime Minister, seeking justice. In her letter, she also said that failing to get justice, she will commit suicide.
Briefing the media about the incident, DSP Sonipat Mukesh Jakhad said that the girl has mentioned two names, one is Karamveer and the other one is Sukhveer who are the employees of the said school in Sonipat.
Clerk Karambir and accountant Sukhbir forced sex on her on several occasions in the school. They even forced her to call her friend for the same, but she did not let her friend be a victim of the two men, the student said in her letter, according to local media.
This incident has come to light just days after a 5-year-old girl was raped inside the premises of a private school in North Delhi’s Shahdara on September 9, and a series of sexual assault crimes being reported from private schools in Haryana.
