New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started online registration of the schools and also of the students of the CBSE affiliated schools who will be appearing for the Class 9 (Class IX) and Class 11 (Class XI) this academic year from Tuesday September 26, 2017.
"Online Registration for Regular Candidates of Class IX/XI of CBSE affiliated schools has started on CBSE website cbse.nic.in", the CBSE said in an official notification released today.
Along with issuing the detailed notification giving step by step instructions form online registration, the CBSE has also mentioned the Fee Details, details of the Subjects and all required dates and schedule.

The CBSE further said that all schools are required to register before registration of students.
"All CBSE affiliated schools should register themselves before proceeding for online submission. They can use the password and ‘Affiliation Number’ as user ID already available with them.
"Newly affiliated schools should contact the concerned Regional Office of the CBSE for obtaining password. After receipt of password schools are advised to change the password for future use and keep confidential to avoid misuse", the CBSE said in an official notification released today.
"Schools have to enter number of sections for which registration is to be done studying in classes IX and XI. This information should be first decided before starting online registration.
"This information should be filled very carefully as schools will not be allowed to change the declared section/strength afterwards. System will automatically multiply the number of section entered by 40. Thereafter school can start entering candidate details", it added.
