Hajj 2019 Waiting List: The Haj Committee of India Thursday released on its official website hajcommittee.gov.in a new list of 1194 pilgrims of different states selected from the Haj 2019 waiting list.
The Haj Committee of India had on March 23 published the list of 5006 pilgrims selected from the Haj 2019 waiting list from 14 Indian states.
"As on date, 1194 Haj seats have become available due to cancellations received from various states out of which 554 seats are from under Quota states", the Hajj Committee of India said in an official communique dated April 18, 2019.
Haj pilgrims from the waiting list should note that their selection is provisional. It will be confirmed once they submit the necessary documents along with the required payments made before due date.
"The aforesaid provisionally selected pilgrims are required to deposit both Advance Haj Amount and First Balance Amount (i.e. Rs.81,0001- + Rs.1,20,0001- = Rs.2,01,000/each)
Payments can be made either:
a. Online at hajcommittee.gov.in;or b. In Haj Committee of India account No. 32175020010 FEE TYPE-25 maintained with SBI; or account No. 318702010406009 (Haj Account) maintained with UBI through any branch of SBIIUBI having core Banking System. c. By cheque of any branch of SBI/UBI in favour of the respective Bank.
"These provisionally selected pilgrims may be advised that after depositing the amount, original valid machine readable International passport with one colour photograph attached to the back of passport with adhesive tape, pay-in-slip of the deposited amount along with Medical Screening and Fitness Certificate should be submitted to their respective State Haj Committee on or before 02.05.2019", the Haj Committee of India said.
According to statewise distribution of Haj 2019 additional seats, Chhatisgarh had got 05 seats, Delhi (NCR) 24 seats, Gujarat 41 seats, Haryana 19 seats, Jammu & Kashmir 148 seats, Karnataka 114 seats, Kerala 117 seats, Madhya Pradesh 36 seats, Maharashtra 126 seats, Rajasthan 45 seatsTamil Nadu 75 seats, Uttar Pradesh 379 seats, Uttarakhand 22 seats and Telangana 43 seats.
To know the names of selected Haj pilgrims from waiting list, Haj Cover Number should be used to access the needed information from the Haj Committee of India website.
The State Haj Committees like Uttar Pradesh Haj Committee, Jammu & Kashmir State Haj Committee, Telangana Haj Committe which have dedicated websites, the list of selected pilgrims from the waiting list can be directly accessed.
The pilgrims who do not find their names in the new list released today should not worry as they still have a chance to perform Haj this year. For, the Haj Committee of India has on Thursday received official confirmation for the additional seats of 14,975 seats. These seats have been distributed among the 14 states mentioned above along with the waitling list numbers of pilgrims.
In case provisionally selected pilgrims in the new list do not make the payment before the due date their selection will be cancelled and other pilgrims from the waiting list will be given chance.
